It would be a really good idea to bring a cushion or two along. No sense being injured by jury duty.

I love the court, but I worked in courts for years with a position that didn’t require endless waiting on hard benches that hurt my back.

I was never picked for jury duty. Got excused pretty quickly.
 
Ron, will the seating be good in the courtroom, if you're picked? Get to Wal Mart and get a stadium cushion seat. They're not that expensive, and they work pretty good. They have decent padding on the seat, and the back on it will help your back a lot.
