The Old Folks Home

Lidocaine in Salonpas (roll-on) has helped my pinging knee. I prefer topicals to ingestibles (naproxen is my drug of choice) as it's not detrimental to the liver and kidneys. I've got some CBD salve that Sister brought from CA that I use when nothing else seems to help. It's expensive and in a miniscule container, so only for those "special" occasions when the arthritis wants to party hardy.

I have to be really careful around lidocaine as I have an arrythmia. They don't even use regular anesthetics on me when I have dental work done.

I have tried the lidocaine rubs though, I have to admit. Didn't do much for my joint pain but I LOVE the stuff for poison ivy rashes.

I misspelled Herxheimer. Oops, my bad. Herxing is one of the main syptoms of antibiotics working on the Lyme infection. Burrescano used to recommend staying on the antibiotics for something like three months AFTER the Herxing stops just to make certain that all the bacteria that have gone cystic have emerged and have died off from the antibiotic treatment. The die off makes you feel as bad if not worse than the disease does by it'self.

@CapricornFarm, now you know why I HATE ticks!
Lol, I have never liked them or chiggers.

Feeling a little blue today, so will go out into the garden and sunshine for natural therapy. Time to prune the hollyhocks. BIG rain last night, so I can forego watering for a bit. More rain scheduled for tonight.
I hope the yard work goes well!

I will try doing some yard work tomorrow morning. It is too hot in the day time for working outside this weekend

I did NOT get the CBD oil to work for me...at all. But I ingested, not topical.

I wonder if I need a barrel a day to get the arthritis inflammation to reduce... haven't tried that.
