Take it from an old wife--make sure hubby has time for his fun too.Yea my poor soon to be hubby he has a list a mile long. He is amazing though he has finished so many of them already. The last time he said he was bored I handed him a shovel. I know have a fish pond. 7 from long 4 from wide and 3 from deep. We still have to get the pump and something cuter to hold the liner down. Done several remodeling projects on the house including paint floor and plumbing. He built the temporary coop and is building the coop. He has a playhouse to build next and a garden to start. Some of these things had to be done but most of them were for me simply because I ask. Although I've never heard him say the words I'm bored since that last time. Yep I'm one lucky woman
Oh, you guys!
I will tell you a funny story, though.
I was stopped at a redlight one day. A car pulled up in the lane next to me and I looked over to see the young male driver snap back to eyes front. I kept looking at him and he would cut his eyes over at me and quickly away. I couldn't tell if he was fascinated by the blue lights, the female cop or if he was holding, but he was not paying attention to the light.
I took my foot off the brake and rolled forward. He saw the movement and accelerated straight through the intersection and the still-red light! Ha ha ha ha!
Of course, I pulled him over in the next block. When I got to his window, he was shaking his head and saying , " You got me, I fell for it and you got me. Go ahead and write me. I deserve it." I laughed and said, "Just get out of here."
Elle is wondering where everybody went and isn't planning to let the last chicken out of her sight!
My DH likes the construction of coops, and we are always behind, darn chicks grow so fast! We are overloaded with turkey poults, too, right now. Hoping to have a few breeding trios come spring. Sweet Grass, Auburns, and Narrigansetts in addition to the BOurbon Reds. I will need breeding pens. And, fortunately, DH likes making them. he he he![]()
Arielle he does, he does most of these projects at his own pace with the exception of the coops those are time sensitive.
If you are asking about turkey hatching eggs, I'm thinking $3 each. Of course, I"m not counting my eggs before they hatch!!!! OR count my eggs before they are layed . . . ?? Or somthing like that!!Arielle, I am interested, What are you asking?
