The Old Folks Home

LaceyMae if that made you laugh, Google dang (except use the "naughty word") you auto correct. There is a website filled with a ton of hilarious examples. I was laughing so hard one time I had tears streaming down my face.

Steal away.....Someone had it on FB and I had to share. I have never had auto correct until just recently. Don't even know why I have it other that an update of Norton, added IE10 and now it's anything goes. Been using Chrome and I don't care for it, but IE10 crashes and throws up on my screen. But since having auto correct (on my phone too!), I have actually given up at times when I try and write a post or just do anything. If I didn't want to spell it that way, I would have spelled it correctly, but then the whole feeling would be lost!! Auto correct is worse than the grammar police!

Oh, I dunno. Give me a red pen and your paper and I'll have you crying for mercy.

I also love the darn you autocorrects.

I used to like failblog, too, until one day randomly looking at pictures on there I found my ex husband and what I can only assume to be his child dressed up as Chucky pretending he was stabbing my ex.

I got over that website really quickly.

There's 7 billion people on this planet and HE has to come up randomly on failblog? It could have not been him too, and just a crazy likeness. However... yeah, over it.

Just unpacked my feed store order. Seems there was a bit of a miscommunication. I ended up with 100 lbs of 28% protein (non-medicated) crumbles. Missing my regular order of 18% pellets for the girls. Guess everyone's going to get a bit of a protein boost this week.

Good thing we go through about 150 pounds of feed a week, here. In other (more controlled) households that don't have 100ish chickens that mistake could last weeks.

See, this chicken math thing is good for something.

They'll love it, SCG! My hens take every opportunity to rush into the chicks' room to gobble down heaping beakfulls of their starter crumbles before I run them out. They think they have really outdone me when they slip in there!

I just changed the Easter chicks over to all purpose feed, as they're old enough and been "on the ground" long enough AND the hens and ducks were stealing the chick starter.

The gals that come into the house to lay their eggs also snatch chick starter while they're inside. They will hop into a brooder bin, scaring the heck out of the chicks to get it, if the bowl of chick starter in the office (for Punkin and her chicks) is empty.
