I loved the one that says, "Auto-correct is always making you say some thong you didn't Nintendo."

Just another relaxing day on the farm:

I wish I'd gotten some this year. My neighbor 2 doors down did, so I dunno if that would cause too much competition for nectar...anyway, I'll do it next year, if not. I have hundreds of chicks and ought to manage my burden better before adding more.

You can have 7 hives per acre. There's plenty of room. I'm surprised we're not seeing more of the bees, they're out and about but they forage up to 2 miles and I am only noticing them when I'm right up near the hive. Perhaps when their numbers improve in 4 weeks or so I'll see more of them.

We've been outside planting smart pots. BF picked up a bunch of those for me since I never have enough garden space. I'm excited about them so far. Usually I garden in kitty litter pails, these are much less of an eyesore. Of course my ghetto kitty litter pails are still out there... Hopefully I'll have my garden in this evening but it's soooo hot out there I have to take breaks every hour or so. It's in the 90s! I can tell I've truly acclimated to up here on days like this. The other day I was sweating and it was in the 50s.

SCG! There are bees, right there, in front of you! In case ya didn't know.

That is great. I really like hearing that folks have bees. They are dieing off. I've heard of a couple of reasons, I think they are educated guesses. We sure need them. What in the world would we do without them! They really do pollinate our planet!

Those baby ducks are adorable with their mama chicken.

Wisher, sorry for your loss.
