I am really anxious to see eggs from the chicks hatched from my eggs, none of them are laying yet that I know of, but you and SCG had the first of them.

They are great chicks. I already have Basque hens and am looking forward to seeing what the Pita Pintas are like when they grow up.
The sound and poop does not bother me. They mainly poop in their water and with a good pump it goes straight to my garden. Now Geese poop like a dang Rotty!No, thanks. I can make you some, though. I compound a nice short chain fatty acid enema. The lactulose enema is also a nice lime green. Would be like a reverse mojito in this heat.

Actually, I love the duck poop. I don't love the (often loud) act of duck pooping, but their poo water is an awesome addition to my garden.
What is an Olive egger?I have 2 EE living with a black coppper--need more of those olive eggs. Soooooo lovely.
