We have two amazing chairs and foot stools as well in the same pattern.

Mok and I have a great deal going. He uses all my woodworking tools - I get heavily discounted furniture.

He just sold 120 tables and 500 chairs to a new resto in Hawaii.

His duck park is next to his open air workshop. His two hobbies keep him amused.

We have a narrow, long screened-in back porch (sleeping porch, as Grandma used to say).
Just that kind of thing I would like to use on it. I love and collect wood(s) products/furnishings/occasional antique.

We are fortunate to have a fair amount of driftwood at our branch.
One day......DH wants me to start working with it...something on the line of "John Perry", I think is the artist name...I wish!! Oh well, we'll see.

Love your day bed, tables and chairs. Very fitting! Chirp.

Both Mok and my father in law planted thousands of hardwood trees 20-30 years ago and now have sustainable forests that they selectively harvest

They have teak mahogany nara and jimalina. All wonderful woods.

We have a table on the porch that is the cross section of a 150 year old Acacia that was uprooted in a storm. it weighs 300 lbs and is 5 feet in diameter.

Hmmmm...I was on the original thread also....and they seemed like they chatted a little more to me there. This is a 2nd generation thread, I guess it could be called.

Anyhoo...I think I'll hang out here with y'all

Look what I got to snuggle on today. This is a gal that I met..by...selling chicks to about a year ago now. Wow, chicken folks are great. We've become friends, she actually calls me her chicken mom, and her older boys call me Grandma Cynthia. She had this little guy yesterday.

He is so cute!

Oz, that is so special, I love hearing stories/histories like that! Connections through the generations, not always by flesh and blood, but by spirit and objects. What a treasure!
Those woods sound beautiful. Acacia, Wow!
