The Old Folks Home

A few days ago I was looking for something to do with my duck eggs, and the butter pecan ice cream recipe caught my eye.

It is fabulous. It took about 2 hours to prep it before it could go in the ice cream maker, and it was pretty liquidy when it came out, but it has frozen up nicely in the freezer since then. I really like the custardy ice cream base. I think next time I might just make the base without the nuts and use that as my baseline vanilla recipe.

I need a cow.
Looks very yummy-- have a link??

I use the duck eggs for icecream too-- however with 2 broody ALLLLLLL summer not many eggs.

You could be a sweetheart and share it with the rest of us, Please?
You Do Not want just 1 cow in Maine, they are a herd critter! The winters feed could be a problem.
