I read about the demonstrations this morning on the news. I hope the truth about what happened comes out soon.

I have never seen raw honey that is amazing! How do you strain it? That is a wonderful resource.I am amazed how much honey I have. I've got 8 frames to extract, I've done 5. Every 2 that I do fill up the 9x11 baking pan. I've been straining it, and have already put up 2 pints and a couple of little jelly jars, and that was only a few frames. This is so cool. And I am gunna have ants. Everything is sticky.

Luckily we have a small flock, so I can outgeek you.I'm glad I'm not the only one who tracks my eggs.
I track by color and type (chicken, turkey, duck).
SCG, we have neighbors that hives at another location..not at their home. They make the lip balm, and they make a bar to use as a lotion. They put different scents into the bars, and man, when I was hatching chicks, I used that bar a lot. Kept my hands a lot less chappy. Of course, they have the honey. When it crystallizes..we put some in the microwave, softens it right back up. Yumm
DiDi, thank you for the hug.And yes, I can just imagine the two of you together. You must have a blast!
Those photos are beautiful, as usual. I was wondering where that was. At first I thought Bridal..but there was too much green around them. Very pretty.
I have no idea what you are talking about??!@Bunnylady No, cooking would take out all the beneficial refined bacteria based substances from it. Instead it is to be served at freezer temperature.
Morning discussion with Karin over breakfast: "Oh, someone on BYC had made honey." "No." "It looked pretty nice." "No." "Didn't even seem that difficult." "No. You are not getting bees."
