It's been raining steadily since Friday afternoon and it's in the forecast for the next 4 days. My riding mower is down and they're not picking it up till Tuesday. I paid a kid $20 to cut the hill facing the road so I don't get a weed citation. The rest of the place is pretty invisible from the road. I was planning on using the weed whip to knock a lot of it down but it's too wet for that right now. Since I lost 7 flocks of chickens, all those paddocks are overgrown now and I can't keep up.

Yeah, I could really do without the heat, like you the ideal place without cold or snow and no real heat is difficult to find. Hawaii is the closest I've come to.

It's an Asian Sheepshead Wrasse, and no, it's not deformed.

Bev I didn't know you were going through all my pictures. I couldn't figure out which of the three pictures I posted earlier today you were referring to.

Yes bunny has the type of fish correct and yes it is supposed to look like that. SCG at one point mentioned that she had a rock on her property (I think it was her property, dang CRS) that looked like Jay Leno. As far as I can remember, SCG was the only one who could see Jay's likeness in the rock (she posted pictures). That led me to Google "things that look like Jay Leno". Google coughed up this fish and a potato that did indeed look like Jay Leno.

I have discovered that you usually don't have to look too far. Most of my "photo shoots" are within an hour or so of my house. Some of them are in my back yard (literally).

Any type of apple and waterbath can for the length of time it tells you in the Ball book for apple butter. Too tired right now to get up and get it for you. Let me know if you don't have one.

It does too look like Jay Leno. I'd post it but I can't find it. I think the NSA deleted it for good off my laptop.

I finished my trapper course today and got my seal of approval to get my license. Just one more thing in my arsenal against predators. And I smell terrible.
