1st one out! 2 more have pipped and are taking a break lol. The first one once it pipped took only an hour to get out I was impressed. I was under the impression after reading everything I could that it would take longer then it did. I think I'm going to buy cigars and pass them out.

My electric? I try to close my eyes, because my bill is HUGE. I also shell out for for fuel oil and wood. hack, hack.

the actual rate is $0.13897 per kWh but we also have lots of extra stuff added to the monthly rate that helps to make the bill larger. that is in American money.

yep, heating times two on top of that.

The fuel oil runs one big space heater that heats the bedrooms/bathrooms/ and laundry room half of the house, and it also runs an on demand water heater.

The wood heats the kitchen and living room half of the house.

We have two little electric space heaters if we can't get enough heat to the bedrooms. We kinda like to keep the house above 40F when we are seeping.

The fuel oil runs me between 2 and 3 thousand a year, and then the wood is about $800.

Alaskan, what kind of square footage are you keeping heated? And have you considered adding insulation? I'm starting to understand the 55F rule you've got though...
