The Old Folks Home

My DH already has one - it's called a mirror. But it only works as long as he can hold his breath.

Well, breakfast was long ago, but I felt like having something greasy and fried, so I whipped up some grilled cheese sandwiches with matured emmental, fried ham and caramelized shallots. I'm contemplating doing something useful, but it's a bit rainy outside. I have to admit to looking up the term "Bachin' it". At first I thought it was some sort of southern bastardization of a term referring to a female dog, then my mind went to a certain German baroque composer, but that seemed a bit too high culture for Alabama (I'm just messing with you). But apparently you were referring to more of a "The Seven Year Itch" type of situation here.

What's up with my favorite Alabamian crimefighter? What did you have for brekkie?

It's foggy, but as the sun comes up I see clear sky. No excuse today. I must get on this temporary coop, they have a roof but the little Orpington's need more than that. It will about 96 square feet... Is that going to be adequate for 7 chickens and 5 ducks? They will have access to a covered run also say 200sf...

And Vehve can you make me breakfast? I could go for a grilled cheese right now.
