Bunny, he's still a bit of a wuss towards people, which is good. I hope it doesn't change.
CC,
I have to admit, baseball seems like a super boring sport to me. It's not played here, but we have a similar sport, "pesäpallo" (Lit. "Baseball"). The bases are organized in a Z shape instead of a diamond, and instead of pitching from a mound, the pitcher stands next to the batter and throws vertically in the air above the plate. Otherwise it's pretty similar. The game was originally developed by the army to improve qualities necessary for soldiers - hand grenade throwing and sprinting for cover. Baseball played a large role in inspiring it. It's fun to play, but not to watch. Baseball makes for interesting movies though. Your variant that is, I don't think I could watch a movie about Finnish baseball.
I'm a Finnish-Swede.
Instead of mink-oil you can use any product designed for leather goretex garments. The one's I've seen include mink oil usually, but we have a lot of mink farming in Finland. Mink oil is good on any leather products, also the non gore tex ones.
I don't know if retailers in the states will react to the gore guarantees the same way they do here, but you usually get a lot o goodwill when buying them. After all, if you spend hundreds of dollars or euros on a waterproof jacket, you sort of expect it to be waterproof. Otherwise it would be false advertising.
Ethnic humor sounds like a PC term for racist jokes
Interesting thing about women, they're usually a lot better at designing circuit boards than men. And back when Nokia was number one in mobile phones, art of their great usability came from the fact that women were in charge of designing the menu setups, making them easier to use. Male engineers tend to overcomplicate things.
7 dollar tomato plants are for people who only want a few. I think it's more of ornamental value at that point than a genuine food source. And for novices, it can really be worth it. Out of the 40 plants I started, only 7 made it to the finish line. And I put in about 3 months of work before they were the same size as the ones sold in the store for 5 euros. It would probably of have been cheaper to buy the ready plants than to give extra light to the plants for 3 months.
