If anyone is thinking of quitting, patches and lozenges are the way to go. I was going to go to the doctor in January to get a prescription for Chantix because after way too many years of smoking I wanted to quit. SCG talked me out of the prescription and into the patches and lozenges. They worked like a charm. Not going to say it was easy but I was able to get completely off cigarettes and the patches and lozenges in about five or six weeks.
SCG those scrub caps are great!

LOL.... Hey you work in a hospital? I used to work for Cardinal Health.... they make those big dispensing cabinets for consumables like Catheters and masks.... they also make big machines for hospital pharmacies.... all bar coded and quantified....

deb

Yes, I'm a hospital pharmacist, kinda, at least for another week or so.

We have those big Cardinal brand dispensing cabinets for the units... Pyxis. That's why I was in the OR. The units needed to be restocked and we didn't have the staff to do it. Those machines were a great invention.

What's everyone up to today? We're supposed to get a couple inches of snow tonight and into Friday morning. How's everyone else doing with the Big Freeze (or whatever nonsense the weather channel is calling it now)?

We're trying to impregnate a dog here, Kiusa's gentleman caller arrived a couple of hours ago. No success so far, they're getting to know each other a bit still. They just went for a walk together.

were you aware that

111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321
I guess that's quadrillion?

Another interesting thing about 11, 11, 11. (1911) On that date, Oklahoma city temperature went from a record high of 83 in the afternoon to a record low of 17 by midnight.
It was called the Great Blue Norther of 11/11/11.
On the same date, KC MO dropped 65F (35C) in 14 hours.
Springfield MO dropped 67F (37C) in 10 hours.
Most cities in the region set a record high and record low on the same day for the first, and probably only time since records were kept.

speaking of one too many

An ant always falls over on its right side when intoxicated. Feed some ants a sweet liquor and see for yourself.
I love watching butterflies feeding on overripe fruit. Stagger and fall to the ground.

I think a smokes worth me peeing on myself for...ahhhh... Ok I got them
Or a good time to quit.

"An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain"
Oz, I think I've met people like that too...
I worked with most of them.

I am seeking refuge from some consulting work I am doing on the computer.

The first episode of "Joanie Loves Chachi" was the highest rated American program in the history of Korean television, a country where "Chachi" translates to "penis"
Hence the great interest.

did you know that a seventh of your life is spent on tuesdays?
And one twelfth in spent suffering January, or July for southern hemispheroids.

No, the male apparently prefers to do it outside, he's a bit adventurous that way. I'll suggest some Marvin Gaye when they get back.

"Let's get it on."

Speaking of quitting smoking. The President must have been sorry he quit smoking during the China Summit this week sitting between Putin, China's Xi and Japan's PM Abe. He was really working the Nicorette gum.

I never thought my wife would quit but she got acupuncture and never smoked again. She did the gum for a bit. That was 12 years ago.

On another note, I just looked outside. The sun is shining and it's snowing.

Mom quit by taking up wallpapering. She did a huge Georgian Federal 2-story 1.5 times, and my sister's room 3 times. (Sister was really upset time No. 3 as she really liked the interim No. 2 wallpaper)

Got to keep those hands busy!
