Neat, easier than I expected but, I imagine it depends on how docile the sow is. I still kept thinking any minute she will head for the hills and that man would be thrown in the air. I had no idea the semen was so inexpensive. Really got a kick out of the little girl you can see they have explained things to her all along and she sees nothing to be scared or embarrassed about.

there really is nothing to be embarrssed about.

the sow has a reflex that causes it to stand still (as explained in the video). it really works

the deed if done by a boar can take up to 30 minutes so five minutes is just a quickee

With dogs it can take even longer the natural route, since the male gets stuck in there afterwards. I like how they're teaching the girl in the video about how things work, it's good.to learn from a young age.

Things are looking good at Coco Beach, Oz. I really like how the fence turned out.

Bama, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with smoking the duck, but if you want to try the taste of duck, the smoker will hide most of it.

From the web:

Michael Jordan makes more money from Nike annually than all of the Nike factory workers in Malaysia combined
A shame but true. As a long time factory worker and union member, that math is just wrong.

I could hear the melody as I read.

Good one...it snowed here today, first time it stuck. Saw a couple of hawks close by too. They will be around more now, looking for that easy back yard meal. :/
We just had a dusting but accumulating snow over the weekend and at least another week in the teens.
I've had hawks around here every day. Usually a bottle rocket scares them off but a big persistent one has

Very nice fence.
Interesting video. Thanks for that. I've never done AI for anything. Just the old fashioned way.
Loved the kids. The boy zooming in to get the counter clockwise and the girl, "are you putting it all in?"

I always wondered why pigs were shaped like a corkscrew. You're never too old to learn.

One thing about Jordan's contract though, I'm guessing the amount of money he's paid reflects the amount of increased sales. If they were to give all the money used on advertising to the workers, the workers would soon not have anyone to make shoes for. I'm not saying that the gap couldn't be balanced out a bit, but without advertisement, people would pretty soon realize that last years shoes are probably just fine for this year too. The planet would be grateful, but not the economy.

Agree completely. If it didn't make financial sense, they wouldn't do it.

It's all about the money, and the people slaving in the sweat shop don't deserve any.

Well, I wouldn't say that, but it's a consumer driven industry. Smaller companies that go by a more fair philosophy don't usually manage to become large companies. I think it's the same as with the food industry. As long as Bob and Sandy aren't willing to pay a bit more for their chicken at the store, the chickens will be produced as cheaply as possible. If consumers start demanding better treatment, and are willing to pay for it, things can change. But I don't hear too many people complaining that their sneakers or milk carton costs too little.
