They probably waited until well after dark to release the verdict so as not to involve the average-joe-everyday-worker in the melee. In other words, no non-involved persons on the street in case things got out of hand. All kids and housewives and non-protestors safe (hopefully) in their houses.
Just wish it were about 40 degrees colder there at night for manageability purposes.

Maybe, but the nefarious characters are out and about after 9 PM. They could have just released the report this morning without warning. Doing it the way they did they gave about 8 hours of advance warning when it was going to be reported giving lots of time for protesters (and looters) to assemble.
News stations love the turmoil- much more interesting to them than reporting another "pit bull" did this or that. The movie "Nightcrawler," is not far from the truth, I suspect.

@ronott1 I'm reconsidering and may do a small clutch for your NYD hatch. I hope to have all my modifications done in time and it would be good to test it before spring hatching season.
