Prob have to factor in heat packs or something...idk....i have been selling my hatchery quality fertile brahma eggs for $15 per dozen locally.....if i were buying shipped eggs (which i have); i would pay more for a guarantee. Maybe a replacement guarantee, a guarantee of fertility. Idk

Al, you can alsays ask whag thd buyer thinks iz fair. Many will overpay in that situation. If the suggested price is too liw, a "Hehe, no but sefiously, whag dl hlu think is fair" will geg a higher offer.

Interesting you say..fertility. I really believe..that this is the biggest reason for a good hatch from shipped eggs. Everyone is going on about how the air cells look bad. Well, I've been hatching shipped eggs for years, and I've had eggs with bad air sacs be fertile just as often than those that weren't with bad air sacs. If I've had to crack open an egg, which I do if one is broken upon receiving them, and see that it isn't fertile, that gives me a pretty good idea as to how the rest are. Crack open one that came broken and it's fertile, the rest usually start to develop, with bad air sacs and all. If the air sac is really bad, like the saddle ones, then they tend to quit at times. But really, the biggest reason is, non fertility with shipped eggs if nothing is happening. My opinion.

I have to confess that since Perchie 'did up' Bama's avatar, I can't stop looking at it. It is so sweet he looks positively angelic. I know he is really a hardened offender but, but... I hope Idiot's Wife doesn't get mad. I am too old and roly poly to be any kind of threat. When the holidays pass and Bama returns to his usual avatar, raking the bars with his water cup - I know the attraction will end.
