OK... how do you do the egg? Scramble it first? Toss it is when the water is still in with the noodles? Huh? I need to know!

After the pasta is al dente drain and put back in pot add a raw egg and stir in hot pot until it cooks usually takes less than a couple minutes. It adds sooooo much to the pasta.

Condensed down so I don't have so many posts at one time catching up LOL

yep alpacas and emus creep me out too. it's the eyes combined with that neck that has a huge reach. and yes, I can testify they love ears. We went to a sanctuary in NC and the dang thing pecked at my 8 yr olds ear. She freaked. The emu hit her head on the inside roof of the car and bolted.LOL

go diva!

love the pics you guys are cute.

such a cool candling pic.

Cyn, my cousin gave me her gold TransAm to sell cuz I lived in the "big city" and could get a bigger price. It had slicks on the back and ran like a *****. I liked that car and that summer.

Excellent work on that carrier.... will you eventually have latches on the lids to keep em shut?

I had bought some, but they were too big. Home Depot, and Lowes are out of the size I need. According to the internet, our local Ace Hardware has the size I need in stock, so I will go by there later, and get them. The other option will be velcro.

I will also put Rubbermaid shelf liner at the bottom, which will help prevent them from sliding too.

Nice carrier, looks good.

I like to make carbonara the non authentic way, with cream. Also, pancetta is a bit hard to find here so I usually go with bacon. About 350g bacon, an onion, 600g pasta and 2dl cream, some black pepper and two eggs. Oh, and loads of parmesan. I don't like melting it into the sauce though, I sprinkle it on top of servings instead.
