I've done it many times but the sheer amount of time I've put into this chick, holding it in my hand... I just can't look into its eyes and cut its head off.

It is a tough decision.

The recommendation for slipped tendons in chicks is to cull them--you are making a good decision.

I was hoping for the chick to make it so did not post that bit of information. If anyone can beat the odds it would be you.
