The Old Folks Home

Felix, I have many of 'those' weeds in my lawn - actually I have a bit of lawn in my weeds. I am impulsive and usually wrestle those things with my bare hands. Now that you mentioned tetanus, I will smack them with a hoe.
sounds like my yard. LOL Liking the new avi diva.

Okay, Old Folks, I need some advice. I need some strategies for increasing my energy level, quickly. I have gotten to where even the chicken chores (normally FUN to me) are not getting done, because I feel exhausted all the time. I don't do enough to feel so tired. I have already made some changes to my diet and will be losing a bit of weight, but I want some energy...NOW! Caffeine is not enough and is spent quickly. Energy supplements (5Hour Energy) work if I take them early in the day, but will not last until I get off work in the afternoons. If I take them later, I can't sleep that night. I'm thinking I need some B12. Have any of you done that? Any other suggestions?
Sunlight real or artificial. I use a lamp with a sunlight bulb. I could not make it through winter without one. (((hugz))) and healing vibes being sent your way
These collard greens are from the same seeds we sent out to some of you folks! Hope you enjoy them!!!!!

Woah, I am excited now. I hope I have the same results.

This is my official cabin fever apology now.

@getaclue told her the same in a pm except I kind of left of the cancer dx part, didn't want to scare her but that was the primary clue for me too that something was wrong but I ignored it till I couldn't anymore (and almost til it was too late

)

I too take vit. D3 BTW. Always did in the winter because of being so far north but now take it regularly because of my "fun" drugs. We just don't get enough sun up here anyway.

(I can hear you trying to "reply" to the "fun" drugs, Bama

What I left off , was my son's pediatrition asking about fatigue at a recent appt, only I knew the ped was really ruling out ( or in) Mono. Been there done that, combined with strep, a deadly combination. Yah, 5 days in the hospital on IV's. Just roll over and go back to sleep, NO visitors, go AWAY!

Maybe mono??

Since we are discussing supplements-- a recent research bingeof mine has been to look at supplementing acetylcholine. It is linked to alzheimers, or rather a LACK of it is. Have not found ligit research. IT doent run in my family, but one member that married into the family suffered with it to the bitter end. WOuld like to know what to do NOW to avoid it. Looking to boost acetylcholine.

how about the newbie, rape, we just tried some last month and now i want to grow it in our garden this year, we like it better than collards, cooks up faster, more tender than collards and doesn't have to have the frost to make them taste good.
