I got very selective after him. Probably the reason I never got married.

On a happier note, the digging portion of my bunny pen project is complete! Tomorrow it's time to go lumber shopping. I'm going to try to squeeze this as cheap as possible. What horrifies me is that I'm still going to have to get some roof materials, some netting, and some paint... those are going to cost an arm and a leg. I'm going to try something new on this one, the roof material is called Onduline. Basically it's wood chips and bitumen pressed to form sort of a corrugated roof thing. You can install it like a tin roof, but it's a bit cheaper, and should be more durable. Plus, it won't heat up as badly since it's thicker, it's self healing, and as an added bonus, rain won't be as noisy on it as on tin.

I was going to use this for roof for dog house. Good stuff, but I have no first hand knowledge.

I need so little that I'd rather pay a couple euros for something that will be easy to install, will be waterproof, and will look good. Plus, we don't really have a dump where I could score that kind of stuff. Stuff like that is usually recycled by melting it down. I could score some off of something similar to craigslist, but it would either cost (about 20 euros less than the new stuff), or I'd have to disassemble it myself. Plus, driving to wherever it is takes gas, and I can pick up the roof materials at the same time as I pick up the lumber. So I'd rather go with something that doesn't have nail holes.

chickie soup just add water :) everyone hatched except one in my DIY incubator again...probly soon as I put less eggs in expecting all to hatch is when they wont!!

Ooo, that one on top looks like a splash..what is the breed? Cute babies and photo!
