I remember that year well. I was still in Pennsylvania and graduated High School that year. Made a killing shoveling out driveways and sidewalks.I think today was the day of the '93 'storm of the century'. We got four feet of snow that day and drifts up to 35' with 100mph winds.
dang seems like the weather man has been hating on you all every weekend so far this yearBack when you were joking about it we weren't projected to get 6 to 10 inches.
And the actual storm is going to start tonight and go through Sunday night. The real heavy stuff is starting Saturday night and going into Sunday.
Darn, guess I'll sewing.
If we have power.
I made $450 bucks in the 8.5 hours I worked. Around $50 bucks and hour. If you were my neighbor I would shovel you out for free. All I would ask is a nice warm dinner, and fellowship with me and my wife.Jeff even though you were a young'un I would think shoveling that much snow could have finished you off. Wow, how much did they pay you? I probably couldn't pay kids out here without using a credit card (don't have one). I do it myself and think no one could pay me enough to do it.
