The Old Folks Home

Hey Wisher, if you're concerned about that extra ~2", you could always place a 2x4 on edge running from one end to the other at the top. It would form an ~2" (actually 1 3/4") flat spot along the peak of the triangle/roof line. That would change the angles slightly on all corners, but not enough to really matter, and the screws would pull it all together regardless. If I were more awake and not heading off to lala land, I'd figure the angles out for you. Been working too many hours and right now should be sleeping (while I can).

Maybe Deb can do the math? Anyway, good luck with it and all them birds!

Somebody shoot me with a nail gun

Shot myself with a nail gun building the garage. Tried to get as alaskan says kid #1 to pour peroxide on the wound, she freaked out over the blood and told me to go to the emergency room. I'M NOT GOING TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR ONE STICH! She still wouldn't do it, my god I can't hold my finger open and pour peroxide at the same time! Finally she did it, but looked like she was going to pass out Lol! Little bit of bandage and some electrical tape and I was good to go Lol!

oh, I also want more people to praise me on my fantabulous building skills.

Totally rocks!

sure nothing is level, but the eggs don't fall out of the nest boxes, and the coops haven't collapsed on the heads of the poultry.

I totally rock
