I think the key give away is when you yell out at traffic and there is no traffic there..... ehem....
I used to work at Arco in a space that was nothing but windows out to the world. I had to cut the guy off who was trying to take a bath with the "free radiator" water.... At least he kept his clothes on...
Are you serious!? That sounds worse than what happened to a buddy of mine who came home late at night drunk as a skunk and picked his cat up in his back room in the dark. It wasn't his cat he hugged, it was a skunk! He stunk for weeks!
Oh, yes, I am serious. I had been trying to catch a mammoth groundhog that was eating my garden. The day before I had caught the neighbors' cat, I would like you to know. That morning the sun was barely starting to come up, I was beyond exhausted, and saw there was something in my trap, but couldn't really tell what it was. I went out to go look. BF stood at the windows, watching. I get up to the trap and I see it's a very large tan colored kitty that was very angry. I start trying to calm the kitty: "oh iddy kitty, I'll get you out, just calm down" as I reach down with my bare hands and start unclasping the locks on the trap. Once I got the trap open the cat flew out of the trap, bounded across the yard and ran for the woods. I reset the trap and then walked back to the house. When I got there I found a very horrified BF who asked me what the heck I thought I was doing trying to get my face and hands ripped off. I honestly had no idea what he was talking about. We actually got into an argument over whether it was a bobcat or a house cat. Unfortunately, with the assist of google and a nap, I realized I had lost that fight. And realized I was very lucky.
I have been trying to keep myself distracted between working and sewing but DD keeps sending me pictures of miss Livvy on my phone. The photographer in me wants to get out there and get NON cell phone photographs of this little one.
I am also learning to look at the date on patterns so I don't pick ones with out of print fabrics but I did have to make the Olivia wall hanging. I will not mention how much I spent on less than two yards of fabric. It HAD to be made. Yes, I need more of the after dinner medications at this point.
