So bacon is the litmus test - okay my mom loved bacon. I hate bacon too salty - "Canadian" bacon I like. My dad and brother loved bacon.

She is an absolute anomaly. She grew up with Thriller, another one of my showgirls. Thriller was the rooster of the flock for a year until I turned him into soup. Miss Piggy definitely did not look or act like Thriller did, so I assumed she was a girl.

She has never shown interest in a nest. I thought silkies/showgirls were supposed to be insanely broody. Maybe she is an it.



Edited to add she was born in January 2012 and she's never molted, either.

What can I say SCG? I hope you won't eat her because she doesn't do anything productive. She looks like she would make an ideal duster. Maybe she is a fake showgirl.
