Yup I have the weekend off. This won't last forever, but it's been nice while I've been on TDY.

We built a similar hoop house a few years ago:


It has worked fairly well although last year something dug under it one night and killed most of the juveniles that were in it.

Hey SCG... I notice the rope "pull" attached at the bottom there... Are you really able to haul it around and move it by yourself, or do you need a tractor or something? It doesn't look that "heavy", but extremely bulky... I would guess you could move it with the birds inside... they'd just walk along as it moves...

Best of luck Wisher! Always exciting to be moving on (and hopefully up!). A comment aside... Since you may have known this person from years ago, I would be careful to NOT make it appear you're trying to play on that relationship to get the job. Keep it professional You can always re-build/renew the relationship after you're hired. Go get em' tiger!

BF is my ox. He's a very large human being and can move it no problem. It is heavier than it looks. The birds aren't quite intelligent enough to figure out that the house is moving, so BF pulls while I shoo.

One more thing Wisher, make sure you have no tp trailing from your waistband or shoe - I can have both and not even notice till I get home.

Two more questions that you can ask the interviewer: How many applicants are you interviewing? (This one can be risky), and my favorite: Do you have any reservations about hiring me? (This one can be risky too, but it forces the interviewer to consider issues while you're still in a position to address them, and it can be a valuable learning tool for future interviews).

Not yet on the greens. It's been weird weather - a few days ago it was in the low 30's (snow up north) and today it's almost 90. I'm dying.
