Just checking in to see if I missed anything.
I have my 4 hour Backyard Chickens for Beginners class this morning. I had them move it to 10AM because the college is an hour drive from me and I couldn't get all the chicken chores done in time for the 9 timeslot.

My queen came back. I still can't find her visually but there's larvae so she's there.

My hand is killing me (take put tiny harp and play my some music)


My eggs are hatching today... (The ones supposed to hatch on Thursday) so far one is out, one if half way unzipped, and two have clear pips.

I watched her fly away. She hadn't been released from the queen box after 4 days (supposed to be 2) so you manually release her. I opened the queen box and she was outta there.

So now my right hand is hurting due to arthritis.... I personally might die of embarrassment.... And my left hand is all bruised because I am an idiot.


I actually had to have the kids open and close the doors for me.

I almost got the blowtorch out... was stacking the wood when I came face to face with Shelob. Time to take a break. And start again from the other side of the pile.

When I lean over, lean back to sit against the back of the couch, extend my right arm, or even breathe deeply, it feels like someone is trying to push their elbow between the ribs on my right side. I'm having to ask my kids to do anything that involves lifting, pulling, pushing . . . . I feel totally useless. What did I do to myself, you ask? Well, um, as near as I can tell - I sneezed.
