The Old Folks Home

I think I would be more afraid of the bat than the snake, unless bat was a vampire, and snake was poisonous. You just don't know

There is an old metal shed that collapsed into a pile of rusty rubble but, I'm afraid to go back there - it's surrounded by murderous Buckthorn trees and bushes, those thorns really mean business.

No family secrets that I know about. Of course IF I knew about them they wouldn't be secrets anyway. All this is giving me a headache or it's the junk I sprayed on my house plants for tiny red mites.

My woodpile had been dumped in the driveway for a week before we had a chance to stack it so most things hadn't had the chance to move in, yet. There were a couple really large slugs and some regular non-scary spiders and some crickets. And Shelob.

And the picture made it look huge because it was huge. The body was over an inch long. It was at least a 3 inch leg-span spider.
