The Old Folks Home

Believe it or not, some of us are not old enough to retire yet so we work full time (and sneak on here when we can ;) ). Now, on the weekends it is all of those other things getting in the way while the weather is nice. :weee No defibrillators needed dude ;)

I'm here but about to finish chicken chores and head to a rally with my son.
It's to promote raising the minimum wage in St. Louis. Rally is at 4. Vote by city council is at 5.

Seems like it's been daily bingo for a while.

I think all us old timers are busy with gardening, chickens, bees, home repairs, building coops and teaching chicken classes.

6 out of 8 shipped eggs!

These will be all white. I decided to try the not so fluffy silkies this time. I want them to
see!

And then this one shows one that does have the muff fluff. Most of hers are not though.

I think part of the problem is we've lost our resident Finn. He was a chatty lad.

I know I've been burning the candle not only at both ends but throughout the middle, as well. I can't keep this up much longer, but looks like I won't have to.

Yeah, incubation and chicks are eating into my gardening and bee time.
I spent the morning making hive frames.
Off to the rally

Yep. V is a cool cat.
