we are supposed to have three days of 90 plus thunderstorms - hate heat & humidity
. Just as I wrote that it thundered. Maybe I should say it will be sunny & mild & dry.

From your mouth to God's ears, eh?
So celebrate in your own way... And sing LOUD!
Quote: Tonight there was a visitor in church...... She didn't leave, but managed to stay for the entire service... Clearly a Strong woman.
Our music is bad....Our deacon has a poor voice (not horrid, but far from good), my eldest son with a very strong carrying voice sang loudly (and hits about 70% correct notes), my 2nd son, and actual GOOD singer sang quietly..... And I sang too -sigh- and I am only a bit better than son number 1.![]()
The rest that sang sang pretty quietly.
So clearly, the church I go to welcomes and embraces those that sing poorly but with great heart.... Sour.... You need to come and visit... No matter how you sing, you would fit right in!![]()
We are told to"make a joyful noise" - repeatedly - I don't think you can find any verse that says it has to be tuneful!
My little mule Betsy makes a variety of sounds when I'm getting her food - grunts, whimpers, and long, drawn out wavering squeaks like slowly deflating a balloon - it's hysterical. I've long though I should teach her to do it on cue, then record her while singing "Sing a Song," particularly the part that goes, "don't worry that it's not good enough, for anyone else to hear, just sing, sing a song. "
(And just for the record, I'm a better singer than Betsy)
