Off subject..but first, love to sing, if it's the Melody, I can hold a tune .. along, with the radio or choir, alone..hmmmm...

I have a rooster that is 4 months old. Beautiful Blue C.Marans. He started crowing just a couple of weeks ago. I saw him mount a hen today! Can they fertilize eggs at this age? Or is he just going to practice for a couple of months?

Have you guys ever processed a 16 week old cockerel? They have very large testes at that age so X2 on it being possible.

The big problem is usually getting the girls to accept his advances and his clumsiness.

Well, he is no dummy, goes after little miss easy. A brown sexlink. She's a sweetheart, and goes to everyone, and doesn't bother any of the other chickens. Wish I had gotten a girl too. This guy is from the ones I won and got for the EHAL ron. Wait, he's only three and a half months!
