Nowt t'do w'pups, but the weather has been really hot and muggy lately. My QH mare, Latte, is a palomino, but this afternoon she was completely black from sweat, and the dirt sticking to her from her rolling. All of the horses were pretty sweaty, so BB2K and I took each of them out and hosed them off. Latte got all anxious when it was her pasture buddy's turn, and started running around and fussing (hey, stupid, it's 95 degrees out here; we're trying to make you more comfortable, not watch you drop from heatstroke) Apparently the wash down made them all feet pretty good, because Latte's antics got the minis going, and they were bucking and tearing around as fast as their legs could carry them. When big horses do that,it's spectacular; but with minis it's just comical.

*sigh* I know, I know - without pics, it didn't happen. . . . Why do I never
even have my phone around at moments like that?

After fighting with that snake I had to take a pain pill, a asprin and go to bed I could not hardly walk. That hoe was so dull I had to really work at all that wacking! Then when DH came home he put the chickens up and found another one in the hen house! We need all our eggs so it went away.
I am not brave I would have like to of been able to just shoot it but I did not want to risk any of my birds getting a stray rickashay. (spelling?)
