My grandma would only bake me cookies with oatmeal in them... Because oatmeal is good for you. i got to pick whichever kind of oatmeal cookies I wanted... I would alternate between oatmeal lace cookies and oatmeal with chocolate chips.


Ron, that looks great! I will take all of Diva's share... Since she thinks it is ucky.


I used to adore raspberries... But I am slowly loosing my fondness for them... I do still like them, it is just with my old teeth and all of those seeds. :/

Oatmeal and raisin makes a very tasty cookie too. BTW I like the taste of strawberry & raspberry ,like in a sauce or topping ,with NO actual pieces of them present. I hate tomatoes (all that gutsy, slimey seeds stuff) but love ketchup (Heinz) I think it was former president Reagan who counted ketchup as a vegetable.

I think that raisens are fine if eaten out of a bowl.. But they should NEVER be stuck inside of a dessert... Or on one, or under one.... Best to not have them near ine either.

Alaskan, my teeth are not fond of raisins but baked in a cookie they are soft and not sticky. Yum. Yogurt covered ones are even tasty and I'm not a yogurt fan.

WOW Diva... from all I've read, it seems like you've had a pretty traumatic life! I suggest a prescription of twice daily ice cream, interspersed with movie viewing and napping.

Reading all this fruit and ice cream and Ron your desert looks wonderful. I guess I will make cheese cake for desert with strawberry topping. Made with home grown strawberries.

Oh, this sound wonderful! Cheese cake has been a favorite around here for a long time!
