They are the most heritage breed that you can get and still be American, they have naked feet and tiny combs, so excellent for cold wet winters, the females are small enough to have great feed to egg conversion, and the males bulk up to a pretty nice eating size.

Also, the kids like their personality best out of all of the breeds that we have tried.

I already have some, but most breeders that ship don't have the quality that I want (their birds are too fluffy, like a Barred Rock not a Dominique or the rooster has a giant rose comb and wattles), or they have great birds, and do not ship.

Most people around here call them domineckkers. Idk why.
