Has anyone seen or heard from Alaskan?

I haven't been off of BYC long enough to be missed... Have I? Is four hours away too long?


I am frigging cold.

Fire went out...

I told eldest to relight it....



















He tried, so opened a couple of windows to get a nice cross breeze so that the smell of lighter fluid would blow out of the house.

He kept the windows open for maybe two hours.

The fire did not stay lit.



I am starting to think that spending the money on a new stove would be money well spent.

I like gmail's spam filtering, any payments and similar things I always do over secure connections, and annoying ads I just tend to ignore.

Everyone watching the game? It's been shown on tv here the past few years, but we've always had US commentators from the game feed, this year it's being commentated in Finnish, super annoying to watch. Also, I'd like to watch the US stream, because I'd get the commercials then too. Finnish companies don't seem to be too interested in buying spots for a game being shown at 2 in the morning, so they only show commercials between the quarters, and even then I'm still missing the actual Super Bowl commercials.

Surprising start to the game, I was expecting Carolina to take the lead. Cam seems to be a bit nervous. 

Yep. We were pulling for Carolina because Cam played for Auburn University (Alabama).

The halftime show was crap. Why on earth would they pay Coldplay to sing?

I was going to say Alaskan must have slipped off his ankle monitor.  That 's a mistake.   It's Bama that wears the one.. 

Bama got the electric chair. His ankle monitor exploded

We're glad the Bronocs won, because of Peyton Manning. Cam will get his chance, he is young, and green. Great defense with okay offense will always beat great offense with okay defense.

DH said the same thing about the half-time show. It was neat to see the previous Super Bowl MVP winners in the pre-game and the flashes of the previous Super Bowl half-time performers.....kinda makes me feel old

Agreed that the presentation of the former MVP's was super! Bet Bama was stoked to see "Uptown Funk" at half-time...the others were lame-o. Do they get paid to perform? I thought maybe it was a quid pro quo for the exposure.

I pegged the Broncos to win, but my prediction point spread was 17. Dang! I miss living in Las Vegas where you can just jaunt to the corner to place your bets at the sportsbook..... that and the buffets.
