OMG I have cousins that lived in Red Bluff for several years while their kids were young. Moved to Aubern when his job shifted. She passed away and he married her nurse.... and moved back to Red Bluff. (I would have loved to be a bug on the wall for that one)

Grandma and Grandpa lived in Sacremento for about fifteen years when they were transfered to McClellan Airforce base up there (civilians working in engineering).

And the last Guinea Keets I bought came from Grass Valley....

In 1849 my family line was still in NB Canada.
My dad's family moved to Lakewood, Calif. abt. 1938. And my mom moved to the area about 1960.
My parents meet in Long Beach and married and stayed southern Calif.

Deb. I know some people love the heat but I am not one of them. I used to camp in the desert when I was young. But here in Al. the temps are now going up to 105* with the heat index.
And it can get hotter and probably will next month.
I can't take the heat like I used to.

We also see a lot of black widows here. Rattlesnakes too. Have to be careful when hiking in warm rocky area. They aren't usually seen in higher altitudes.

I moved around a lot as a child. Step dad was in Air force.

Born in MO. Moved to Florida. Lived in NC for a very short time, then moved to VA..from there to here in Utah..will be staying here now.

I do not like moving. I would be happy to move to a place in the Country that allowed Roosters though......
