Straight from Joe Weider's mouth. I wasnt a real body builder but i did put on 25 pounds over 40 years of off and on training. My lean weight has actually been the same since my 20's. My lifting made me strong but didn't add much weight but i could pick beans or strawberries all day bent over with no pain and It did move the weight around some. I used to love how my arms looked after a 3 set session of preacher curles. A friend of mine who was more enthused managed to build a 52" chest and could free curl 175 pounds. He ate 6 cans of tuna per day during his bulking cycle. I did 3 sets with 120 pounds preacher style and was not as big as my workout pals who couldnt lift that much and ate what i wanted :)
I have some small weights that I lift. I think everyone should, especially if they don't use their arms much. I walk, and am generally active. But if I didn't lift weights my arms wouldn't get that much of a work out. It's good to stay fit. And it's good to eat as much as you need, no starving yourself :) I want to travel when I'm old enough, go rock climbing, cycling, hiking etc.. So will need to be strong. But I'm not planning on becomming a body builder :p

I eat 2-6 eggs a day every day for many yrs. For breakfast and two jalapeño or habeñero pickled eggs almost every day.
We have a health check at work every yr for free if we want it, they always say my cholesterol is good.
I don't think I could have survived the hard manual labor jobs I've had through the yrs without a good breakfast.
