Anyone on here a decent dog trainer? I'm kind of at my wits end with my rat (chaweenie)... he's fine with me and my husband, he's fine with other people when I'm around... but we went out of town this last weekend and had a friend (that he knows and likes) go feed them one day and it turned into a bloodbath... he bit her thumb pretty badly, it's healing and doesn't look like it's infected (impressive since he had a mouth full of raw chicken right before he bit her...) and she's not mad, but I certainly don't want him doing that again... She tried to take his food away from him is what started it, not an excuse, but it is what set him off.

Oh man I do not envy you. We have a Jack Russell/Springer Spaniel mix and she can be a hand full when she wants to be. I swear whoever came up with the name Terrier was just trying to spell Terror and misspelled it. Ours is also hyper protective of her food although her aggression is mainly towards the other dogs. She knows better than to challenge me or my husband. I wish I had an easy answer for you. Some dogs you just have to respect when it comes to their food. Personally I would never let a stranger fool with my dogs' food dishes, on their home turf, even if the dogs know the person involved. It sounds like what prompted the attack was trying to take his food 'away' from him. I would google that problem in dogs and go from there.

Went to lung Dr. yesterday. I'm much better. I go back in a month, and he thinks I should be ok for surgery then.

Glad the eye is ok.

What surgery? Ey? I need to come in here more often. I don't get on as much lately..I use a PC. Just get on a few times a day..well, late at night! Did I say late? Yep.

What surgery?  Ey?   I need to come in here more often.   I don't get on as much lately..I use a PC.  Just get on a few times a day..well, late at night!  Did I say late?   Yep.

As soon as I get cleared from lung Dr, I get to have a lump removed from my breast, which will be biopsies. PET scan says it's turned cancerous. Dr says there is a possibility of a false positive. Won't know for sure until after the surgery, and can't get the surgery until the lungs are healed.

Im hoping to get a few more to incubate. They laid 1 today but it is cracked and seeping. They will go in the bator in a few days
