We did get about 4 to 6 inches between last night and right now beautiful

Scg I tried the Westalle stencils and they do not work with my low shank Baby Lock. I tried my darning foot and my embroidery foot and they are just to low.
They are made from Plexiglas so even for my machine they would need to be double thickness. They sell a low shank foot on that site also but they want 55.00 for it.

Yeah that's one reason I ended up drawing the stuff on instead of trying to shove all that under my throat and buy an expensive new foot for it.

We're plowed and shoveled and I threw the ash on the driveway from about 40 hours of 2 wood stoves going like crazy. I got the stoves reset and restocked for the next round, all we have to do is light it and bring up wood when we burn through what's near the stoves.

The funny for today was waking up to a Facebook message from my mom telling me happy birthday.... now... my birthday is in August.... lol

She says she typed "happy" and went on autopilot and typed the birthday part.... but I spent most of the day trying to think of anyone she knows that was born on new years! Lol

We have fog and drizzling rain, with green here and there.

Woke up to fog but the sun can out and it was a nice day here. Food and fireworks with neighbors last night. Welcome 2017

Wow Alaskan I can't believe you still have green grass! Ours is brown and dead! The cows come to the front gate and holler till DH goes out to feed the. lol

I highly recommend 2 wood stoves, fed every 90 to 120 minutes, LLBean wool socks and 2 quilts. Oh and a hat with ear flaps. With a flashlight on it.
