The Old Folks Home

Thanks for the correct spelling Mary. I was too lazy to go upstairs and read the label off the Heinz Ketchup.
I know how to spell it from writing it on the grocery list, way too often!

My emotional support dog is the BIG Nathan's hotdog at Sam's club... ...note: spell check didn't know how to spell Ketsup either. Ha ha!

Not a Sam's club member anymore, but have had the jumbo Nathan's dogs and they will absolutely work in a pinch

Though your way of spelling is improper I've sen it spelled that way many. many times.

Hot dog with sweet relish and ketchup OR with chopped onion and yellow mustard...never mix the two combos on the same dog.

When I was a kid I used to do the first, I stopped doing that @ ~10 yrs old and went with the latter way ever since. Have to agree... never mix the two ways or combos thereof. My Favorite oldest daughter used to eat baloney (balogna for those who prefer proper spelling) sandwiches with ketchup... I find that almost as disgusting as baloney with mayo... <-- grease on grease

I rather use "baloney" as if you google search "balogna" and look at the first three entries that appear, they have absolutely nothing to do with the lunch meat. justsayin

ETA: after all that I feel the need to make a pot of chili and buy some emotional support dogs. I already have the hot sauce, onions and shredded cheese (and buns too).

Change of plans: I ended getting smacked in the face by a guinea wing. Everybody's grounded...clipped all offending wings. I don't get upset often....but I just had enough today. We bought this for Christmas. Saw the label...going to keep the bottle for display...lol. @RavynFallen Saw this one and had to take a pic! :D
:drool How'd you know I love me a good red??? :D ;)

A buddy of mine has two tickets for the 2017 Super bowl. Box seats plus airfares, accommodation etc., but he didn't realize when he bought them that this is going to be on the same day as his wedding
- so he can't go.

If you're interested and want to go instead of him, it's at St. Peter's Church, on 23rd street in Nashville TN, at 3 pm. Her name's Louise. She's 5'4", about 125 lbs., nice chest, great legs, good cook, makes $130,000 a year!

PS -- She will be the one in the white dress.

I changed a few words.

Got my crazy quilt for Crazy Neighbor Lady done... a great way to use up all the scraps that start to take over once you've sewed for a while. I sort my scraps by general color into bags. Been working since about May to piece the scraps together into blocks to get rid of them (in between projects and when I only have a few minutes here and there). I'm definitely not a big fan of this quilt, but I posted it with a "needs a home" and she responded almost immediately that she wanted it. It was fate for the crazies to find their way to each other. I still have a ton of scraps, I think next time I'm going to try to piece the blocks into more of an around and around log cabin like block than just randomly sewn together how they fit.

Beautiful work, Superchemicalgirl. I finally got a start on quilting project #1. It's nothing fancy. I found a large square I don't even know what to call it on line. I thought it it was cotton or a blend throw. Turns out to be a thin polyester large scarf like thing decorated in an Eastern Indian motif. I couldn't figure out what to do with it other than quilt it into a throw to use on the back of our leather sofa. Since the material is almost like satin, I bought enough black satin to use as the back. I'm a hand quilter it's probably be done by this time next winter.

I have a printed panel of the inside of a barn coming this week sometime that will be easier to utilize. I'm going to make it into a large runner for either our library, the kitchen island or the coffee table. Don't know which.....maybe I should get a few more to work up.

Where ever do you find you darling panels that you quilt? I've found some on Fleabay and on Fabrics.com, but have been wanting to ask you where you find yours.

I have a BIG quilting project that has been going on for years. I am taking old sweat shirts and cutting them into squares to make a winter quilt for our bed. Hope to get it done by 2025
