Chickadoodles! That is not the kind of news a retired nurse likes to hear when they first wake up.

It used to make me RUN down the hall when one of my aides told me that 'the lady in 210 is having chest pain'.Thank God you are seeing the doctor today and so sorry that you don't have a good ER close by.

Prayers sent.

Be well.

We took a steer in to the butcher for our cousin first thing this morning and I couldn't respond in "no man's land." The area we take the steer has terrible cell reception.

Chickadoodles, that sounds terrible!

I'm really hoping like others have mentioned that it's not as serious as it sounds.

Al, when was the last time you saw that bright orb in the sky the rest of us know as the sun?
Huh? Of what do you speak? We do have a brightish sonething that rises in the south, skims along the mountain tops for a few hours, then sinks into the pacific ocean.
 Those are fantasy temps! We don't even get that hot in the summer.
Alaskan you are not crazy, you are a survivor that's why you haven't run screaming for a live able climate. Yes, we know spouse won't move - so you are trying to make the best of it. In doing so you have become a true -wait for it :bow ALASKAN :thumbsup :clap

I think I had a mild heart attack Sat. afternoon. Dh was out vacuuming up leaves to far from the house to get him. So I got my youngest daughter on the phone to talk to me till it stopped. I called the Dr. yesterday and they want me to come in today for a EKG, blood work and a echo. The nurse asked if I went to the ER afterwards and I told her no there hospitals here are stop and drops. I have been extremely weak and feeling wore out since Sat. the simplest things make me very tired. So I guess we will see.

Grey freaking miserable drippy cold muddy dismal day. I ran out of adjectives.

We haven't seen the sun in about 5 or 6 days either but I had to go out this morning and get my nets back up so I could let the chicky birds (which is what I call them when I tell our dog it's time to go out and take care of them) out. Poor babies have been pinned up for 5 days and while no blood has been shed, I'm sure they appreciate getting out in the fresh air for awhile.

Getting the nets back up with bruised ribs and goodness knows what I did to the intercostal muscles was a real joy-not. As was slipping around in the Missouri gumbo. It was worth it when the chickens piled outside. Nasty weather. No problem for them.

Me, I am soooooooooo ready for spring and summer. Not to mention pain medicine and a nap.
