I'm allergic to wasp stings. Epipen for me, unfortunately. I am also highly allergic to mold and certain pollins. I've been using flonase, Benedryl, Singulair and Zyrtec for decades. I could never tolerate allergy shots.
 
I was told that local honey helps you build up immunity to pollen.
That makes no sense at all. The pollens that cause problems are from things like trees and grass, plants that produce copious quantities of pollen that gets blown on the wind. The plants that use the bee vector for pollination produce much smaller amounts of very sticky pollen that doesn't get windborn. They are totally different classes of plants; they really have almost nothing in common. If ingesting the small quantities of pollen that would be found in honey really can help to reduce the allergic response, it shouldn't matter where the honey came from.

So it's basically just an old wives tale. And why do they call them old wives tales? Did old husbands never tell tales?
 
I have epi pens in 4 places have not had to use them in years now...
shrooms use to be a no no light dose now no issue still do not like the texture
