Morning everyone

time change. Enough said about that.

Chickadoodles, stints! Ouch! Not fun at all but thank God medical science has advanced to a point where we can fix stuff like blocked arteries that 150-200 years ago would have just plain out killed us. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better now and that the ordeal is behind you. Thanks for the tips on the RGGS system. I will definitely look it up.

They were telling us the temps last night were going to go down to the mid teens but it only hit 27 as its low. On again Off again spring weather is like time changes. It sux.

Penny I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers are with you.

Scg your blocks are very pretty.

Micro you could also look up the RGGS system. You can grow food in pots with net cups in the bottom that sit in a pvc pipe with an auto float to keep the water at a 2" level. They flourish thru the heat. Nearly no care required and you can do them on cinder blocks for a raised height for care.
There are lot's of videos on youtube for the RGGS system.

I have not been on BYC much have not been well. Just had 3 stints put in and another unblocked a week ago Friday. I am still not up to par.
But feeling much better.

I was doing some sewing and making a few gifts for my grands.

My sewing machine broke down and I had to put it in the shop the day I went in the hospital and just got it back Friday.
It works like new again.

Well done!!!!

Finally starting to warm up here. Went out and got some groceries and some chicken feed for the impending doom storm, and just got my bread started. I feel so lazy, it's already 11.

"Fuel, food, freaking out. In that order, please." Love it!

I did it in that order, too! I almost freaked out because I wanted to make a pumpkin pie. I had the pie crust already made (I batch and freeze) and all the ingredients including duck eggs(!!) except a can of evaporated milk. Dejected, I began to put all the supplies away. When I put the frozen pumpkin puree back into the freezer I spied a bag of frozen Maine blueberries from this past summer.
I might have significantly burnt the edges of my blueberry pie by forgetting it was in the oven and then going outside to complete farm chores, but aside from the crust edges, it looks perfect.
It might not be pumpkin, but I persevered for pie.

We made a lovely brunch.

I'm pretty sure I need that recipe.
