Sorry your having trouble finding it. Have you tried any of the FB hog or farm pages?

I downloaded Adblock and I tell ya, it's been a life saver for my computer. The only thing that makes me chuckle about it is when I open news site and they say "please disable AdBlock to view this site properly" Yeah, like I'm going to fall for that one. My computer is a Gateway, not the fastest comp on the block on a good day but it does what I want it to do as long as ten jillion ads don't try to weasel their way in piggy backed on what every I want to read.

I understand and support a site gathering revenue through advertising but IMHO it's getting a little over the top on some sites. And yes, I was having trouble with BYC also until I downloaded AdBlock. It will occasionally hickup for me now but not nearly as often as it used to.

My ad blocker is telling me that it is currently blocking 17 ads on this site alone . . . . 'nuff said!

I use just my iPhone and I don't see anything like that with adds on here I have almost quit using a computer I think I used my laptop 2 months ago

Mine is blocking 9. I don't mind a few ads popping through but when it gums up the works that's a bit too far as far as I am concerned.

Mines is blocking 10. But I feel sorry for the people like me that cannot interact and have no idea why. Not everyone is tech savvy.

I have to give credit to my husband for being the tech savvy one in our family. He is the one who found AdBlock and downloaded it into his computer.

I have a Nextbook that I use to download books. I can also surf the web with it and I was noticing that suddenly I was getting a lot of really weird pop ups that were threatening to take over. He found an AdBlock for Androids, installed it for me and the problem stopped.

Y'all realize that it is just a matter of time before they figure out a way to get around AdBlock. Then we will be back to square one.

Thanks to the discussions I have finally figured out what was removing my ability to edit here in the text box or in full page editor. I use Ad Blocker Plus as well as NoScript on Firefox and NoScript was blocking a script from "huddler.com" and when I allowed it to run I got all my editing functions back (including emojis!

). This has also fixed it so I can now read comments made by others when they give a thumbs up.

which I have been unable to do until now. Right now NoScript is only allowing 6 of 13 scripts to run on this page. ABP is blocking 8 items (not just ads, but tracking sites as well).

I'll check over time if it also now allows me to give thumbs ups once again (which I also haven't been able to do). These are issues that I've been dealing with for months! and a primary reason why I haven't been active on the site.

ETA I can now once again give thumbs ups as well. about time!

Well Ls it's a good thing we all got to talking about it. I was getting very frustrated as I am sure a lot of other folks are as well. Congrats on getting yours fixed as well!
