The Old Folks Home

Perchie.Girl, I am in awe of your jewelry.

From an artistic POV where do you get your inspiration for your designs? Does each stone 'Speak' to you or do you have a pattern/design in mind and go searching for a stone that fits?

Hmmmm... The stone speaks for sure Inspiration comes from seeing other works of art. One of my goals is to make it as pretty on the back as it is on the front.
I have been immersing myself in Three or four artists on YouTube... One turns out absolutely lovely pieces and she sells them for 100-200 each... But her backs look like a bird nest... Another makes consistent pieces more simplistic... The backs are awesome. The last one is amazing... her art varies and from an engineering point of view Flawless... She is the one I followed for the Tree of life initially.

As far as the art... I was told by a professor I would never be an artist...

They are Delawares and are not big--They are about 12 weeks old but I have to get red of them because they are crowing--Neighbors have turned me in to the code enforcer this year already...

Ugh! How obnoxious! Are these the same neighbors who blame you for the smell, or different ones? We spend the night in Woodland every year on our way to & from Portland. It seems so rural out there... Do your neighbors think they live in the city?

Woodland has 55,000 people in it but is surrounded by lots of farm land of many types--Almonds, tomatoes, wheat and recently hops. They do think this is a bigger city than it is. To top it off, we live at the edge of town.
