I am going to pressure cook some black beans. I will have corn bread with it. I ground corn to make my own cornmeal. It is very good that way with a nice corn flalvor.

We are having blt's and ff for supper.
I put the bacon on wire racks and put them on a large cookie sheet. That way I can get a whole pack of bacon Cooke at one time and it does not shrink

We had rotisserie chicken and rice. The water tasted better than any food could. I am so thirsty from burning stuff outside!

That's how I cook bacon all the time now...in the oven. I was wondering (haven't tried it yet) how it'd turn out on my George Foreman.

Um...don't try baking sunnyside eggs though. ....
I still get teased about my plastic eggs... You never know if you don't try, right??

I re heated some frozen enchilada casserole last night. It is a busy time here at UC Davis. The Fall Quarter has started. Oh Boy!

We do bacon in the toaster oven since there are only 2 of us.

Bacon in the oven is awesome!

400 degrees on a foil lined baking pan. Takes 10 minutes or so and cleanup is so easy!
