There have been several bans that I know of in California of chemicals. some I used to use in manufacturing...

MEK... cleaner and degreaser for Metal parts. It has since been allowed again but I belive it was "Tweaked"

Cad plating... Cadmium is an excellent material for plating Screws and bolts for machinery. So It has to be done out of state...

Plywood.... Yep plywood... Cant manufacture it in California unless it has more expensive process

a BUNCH of insectisides starting with DDT.

Set a timer...I have one on the oven, phone and two polders. Sometimes I need to time multiple things that are cooking. For meat, I use a temperature probe.

Morning everyone.
  • Finally got the coop cleaned yesterday. It took me most of the afternoon but I got er done. It always looks so nice with a fresh bed of chips down. Then the next day......well, looks like a bunch of chickens live in it and there is crap everywhere. But it is nice while it lasts. I'm taking it easy today and pamper myself and my sore back. We have nice Fall weather here for the next few days so I can get the second coop done at my leisure.

Yes, for the flu vaccine.
The GMO chickens, goats, rabbits etc, are for different purposes.
From what I read a lot cheaper way to develop drugs than traditional methods. Gene "pharming" make human proteins that have medicinal value, lots of uses for many illnesses and disorders.
Crazy stuff IMHO....
:sick And we think all the other creatures are nasty.
