Picked my friend up from the airport. She brought a quilt to piece and then work on quilting. She's working on piecing it, still, should be done tomorrow. I hope. She's touched by adult ADD and I love her dearly but it's kinda like being in a room with a squirrel on amphetamines.

However, I am making a dent in my Xmas presents...

Finished the last 2 sets of pillowcases for my sister and her 4 kids, then finished the last 2 scrub caps for a surgeon I know (I mailed him the first I made earlier this week and luckily it fit his giant head so I was able to continue with my mission and not alter the pattern).

I love the scrub caps. We used to make our own when I worked OB/scrub. Anything other than those ghastly bouffant things they gave us to wear.They would make us wear these horrid pink dress scrubs so we were recognized as being OB scrub nurses and not Surgery scrub nurses. We finally staged a revolt and snuck up to surgery one night and raided their regular pant and tunic scrubs. They got the message and bought us our own two piece scrubs.

Yeah, I was a rebel in my younger days.

You could open your own side business with those scrub caps.

I think we are going shopping in Lynchburg tomorrow if we are both able to walk, lol. Husband wore down his back using the chain saw and i just bent over way too many times today. I will be glad when this hoop coop is done!

I have a couple of family members, both now deceased, that were manic depressive--talk about a challenge!

Dealt with that a lot when I was working. Amazing how challenging it is to deal with especially in geriatric nursing.

Morning everyone! Woke up to rain which started late last night and continued on. We have almost 2 inches in the rain gauge. The chickens are out happily digging around in the muck for worms. Talk about making lemonade out of lemons, they do for sure.
