On another note...Tomorrow morning, I'm going to a MealWorm seminar/workshop. I'm dragging Dh with me. It's very near where we live, so not far away. There is a respected entomologist, with a mobile set up, going to be there to give the seminar. It's free. I want to go learn, and getaclue. Maybe someday I'll know enough that I can change my screen name to: gotaclue.

chica, if you didn't have it before the sinus trouble, that is probably the cause.
Vestibular neuritis or labyrinthitis. This is an inner ear problem usually related to infection (usually viral). The infection causes inflammation in the inner ear around nerves that are important for helping the body sense balance. I've had this happen several times throughout my life. In fact, one time I thought I was just suffering from my typical allergies. We took the boat out, and when I got back on the dock, it was as if I were still on the boat. The ground was "moving". I went to the doctor, and it wasn't allergies, but a sinus infection. If it doesn't subside in a few days of taking your medications, call your doctor.

The roof looks very well done Clue. Glad you're happy with the outcome. Your place looks just like a Florida property. Similar to what my folks had and mine wasn't much different when I was there. Good to hear you got in some extra rest today as well. Hope you're feeling better.

My plans for the weekend... not to make any plans The cold my daughter brought with her when she visited is breaking up now and still coughing w/phlegm and minor sinus congestion, but feels like I should be done with it any day now. If I find the energy to get off my fat butt, I'll head to TSC and buy some fence posts for braced corners and get back to work on the fencing here.

Supposed to have wet weather moving in Sunday night through Monday, associated with a front/temp drop. Rain will be nice as we're quite dry. Mid 70's Sunday, low 50s Monday and below freezing Monday night. Looks like I may have to fire up the wood furnace for a second time this fall.

I forget if i told you the guys worked on my goat shed today. I thought they might finish the soffits.

@getaclue, your roof looks fantastic. We had property in Sebring that we wound up selling. DH's folks left it to him. I sortakinda wish at times that we had kept it but if we had, no chicken flocks, no timber to hunt in, hike and ride dirt bikes in, neighbors 50 feet away.....nah, not for us. But man, no snow, no cold, no ice....palm trees and it had a lemon tree in the back yard!

Today I took Burd the Miracle Chick and his brood brother, BooBoo's sister away from them. She is maturing rapidly and they are starting to chase her. I figured it was time to put her in with the other bantam hens and start my rooster coop. I added 4 young cockerels in her place with more to be added over the weekend. I have at least 40 bantams and counted at least 25 cockerels/roosters. Not good numbers at all so I figured it was a good time to do some moving. That way there would be plenty of body warmth for them over the winter months and when the February thaw happens and their hormones start to kick in, they won't be fighting over the hens and pullets. They'll just be beating the snot out of one another,

I don't have goats yet thank goodness. We still need to string fencing. They need to put up the other 4 windows and do the wiring.
