Clue I made them for Dh he loves oatmeal cookies. But has never had homemade oatmeal cookies. He loves them and so do I.

The new dishwasher is here! It showed up at 7 this morning. I seems to be working fine. I managed to get it wired and hooked up to water and drains too.

No Sparks!

I thought about replacing my dishwasher once but he's still pretty handy for other things

morning everyone

going to get bitter cold BUT the snowstorm missed us!!!!!! Just getting a couple inches of fluffy stuff, no problem.

Not such a happy dance for our good friend, DH went to town yesterday and on the way home stopped to check on friend's house because he had went to Milwaukee last weekend and found his beautiful home had been broken into. Called sheriff, dealt with helping him investigating for a couple hours then stayed at the house until friend got there and helped him secure things. Fortunately there was at least not too much physical damage done, just a lot of ransacking and serious damage to the beautiful cabinet around the gun safe (this is the friend that is a master carpenter/cabinet maker) but they weren't able to get it open, and stupid things like leaving the fridge open. Found out from the sheriff there had been string of remote homes broken into over the weekend. My poor DH had left home early in the morning on a quick trip to town, finally getting home late in the evening.

Trust me it can happen in a small town also.

Back in IL we had a neighbor whose home was broken into after he and his wife had left for the day. Town of 3,000, 6 miles from town. They threw a concrete block through their picture window to gain entry.

It happens everywhere! A couple of summers ago there was a band of robbers that burnt down the house to cover the crime. At least three that summer were destroyed.

abundantly aware not as likely is all we can do and be diligent ourselves most will at least hesitate facing three big dogs
